"Necropants", Pants Made From Human Skin

In the 17th century in Iceland, there is a shaman who makes his own leather pants from the skin of his friend who had died, it is said that the pants can bring wealth to a the person wearing it.

According to legend, the horryfying agreement between the two comrades about making a 'necropants,' was the starting of an awfull pants which is used for the purpose of the traditional magic of the day.

These pants is now placed at The Museum of Icelandic Sorcery & Witchcraft in Holmavik, Iceland. To make a Necropants, human skin had to be obtained from people who had died and had to get his permission when he is stil alive. In the agreement, when one of them died the other one had to dig up his dead friend's body and release the cadaver skin from the waist down in one piece with no holes or hack, to make this horrible pants.
